Terms of Service

These are the terms for using WINDOW. We've kept them plain and specific to what the product actually does, instead of generic boilerplate. By creating an account you agree to the terms below.

What WINDOW is

WINDOW surfaces emerging income streams, skills, and niches ("Windows") before they become crowded. Some Windows are curated, others are generated with the help of AI. Opportunity scores, demand trends, and difficulty ratings are estimates meant to help you prioritise your own research — they are not guarantees of income, demand, or success. WINDOW is informational. It is not financial, legal, tax, or career advice.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account.
• One account per person. Don't create accounts to evade a ban or a suspension.
• Give accurate information when you sign up — especially your email address, since we use it for login and account recovery.

Account security & lockouts

To protect your account from unauthorised access, repeated failed login attempts will temporarily lock your account for a short cooldown period. This is automatic and not a punishment — if it happens to you and you believe it's a mistake, or you're locked out and need help sooner, contact support@yourwindow.app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute WINDOW's content at scale without permission
• Attempt to access another user's account or admin-only features
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service (e.g. abusing rate limits, attempting to bypass security controls)
• Use the service for anything illegal, harassing, or fraudulent

Violating these may result in a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban at our discretion, depending on severity.

Premium subscriptions

• Premium is billed monthly or yearly through Paystack, in the price and currency shown on the Premium page at the time of purchase.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices may change going forward — if they do, it won't change what you already paid for your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case — email support@yourwindow.app if something went wrong with a charge.

AI-generated content

Some Windows and roadmaps are generated using AI (currently Groq-hosted models). We review curated Windows before publishing, but AI-generated estimates can still be wrong or outdated. Always do your own diligence before acting on anything you read here, especially anything involving money, contracts, or your livelihood.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where practical, we'll tell you why.

Disclaimer of warranties

WINDOW is provided "as is." We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Opportunity data reflects estimates at a point in time and can change.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, WINDOW isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on content shown on the platform.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
